    Job Description
    What’s it take to be a Sonny’s Manager? In addition to meetin’ education and experience requirements, you’ve gotta have deep knowledge, understanding and appreciation for BBQ and the people who enjoy it. You’ve gotta make sure our restaurants are always clean and operatin’ at 100% or darn close. But above all, you gotta make Southern hospitality your top priority.

    Our managers put the spark in sparkler, the fire in bonfire, and the smoke in the smoker! They make sure the aces are in their places and that our Sonny’s restaurants run like a well-oiled machine, so that our guests get that one of a kind experience that they have come to know and expect at each and every Sonny’s location.

     Required Skills and Experience
    • Been there, done that – At least two years related experience and/or training in the restaurant industry.
    • Plays well with others and lends an ear when needed - Excellent interpersonal skills.
    • Juggles everything that needs to be done with strong time management skills.
    • You were a great student!–Strong reading, writing, and math skills will really help you get the job done!
    • Proven business knowledge and success as a General Manager in the restaurant industry is a necessity for this role! Jumping in and leading the way for others will be expected!
    • You don’t have to be a computer geek, but really good computer skills are needed, including experience with Microsoft Office programs.

In this GM role, you will manage all of the restaurant managers along with restaurant back of house / kitchen & front of house / service teams AND have P&L and Operating Partner / Leadership responsibilities. As the senior restaurant leader, you will run the full operations manager / Managing Partner capacity.

    Compensation: $32,000-$50,000 annually
