Happy New Year! Welcome back. We are excited to start off a brand-new year with more exciting events and programs. In case you missed it, here’s a rundown of our January VOOM meeting. If you aren’t familiar with VOOM it stands for “Voices of Our Members” and offers Chamber members the opportunity to network, make business announcements and introduce newcomers to the business community.
Diversified Benefit Administrators, Miss Kitty Feline Sanctuary, and Summerhill Creative kicked us off as our first sponsors for the year.
Diversified Benefit Administrators is a third-party administrator which manages the health plans of its clients. They specialize in partially self-funded health plans. DBA is a local path to healthcare for your business. In 2019, they are developing an association health plan for the small business owners of this community. Mary Beth Donalson manages her business with her clients in mind and offers them the quality service she would want for herself. They also help business with other cost saving health resources. Visit their website to see what they can do for you and your business.
Miss Kitty Feline Sanctuary is a cat sanctuary and adoption center in Thomas County that offers low cost spay & neuter services. They advocate for sterilization as a solution to animal homelessness and overpopulation. In the 9 years they have completed over 21,000 surgeries. They have 14 employees and 2 veterinarians. Carol Jones, the executive director, believes it is important for the community to know stray cats are not lost but at home. If the cat’s left ear is clipped, then it has been to Miss Kitty’s and can be left alone. Visit their website to learn more about their services, adopt a pet, and see some adorable cat photos.
Summerhill Creative is a locally owned marketing agency that offers marketing, video production, and web design. They are responsible for many of the videos we create here at the Chamber. They are passionate about their work and want to make a real difference for their clients. Jeff Lovett wanted to take this opportunity to emphasize their customized professional web design services. They create content with the audience in mind. Who are they? What do they want? Visit their website to see some of their amazing work or to contract their services.
