Ansley Lacy works as a sales representative and branch manager for New Hire Solutions, a local business that offers staffing and payroll services. Though she calls Thomasville home, she spends much of her time on the road working from all four New Hire Solutions office locations (Thomasville, Valdosta, Fitzgerald, Cairo) including the Fitzgerald branch which she also helps manage. Ansley assists with recruiting efforts to provide desired employees for the large variety of positions they fill across South Georgia by attending job fairs. She also participates in New Hire Solutions’ work-based learning initiatives in which they speak to local high school and college students on the importance of job-related soft skills. Recently she has been assisting the Risk Manager with workers compensation claims as well as steps in to help at each office as needed.
Ansley has been an active Thomasville-Thomas County Chamber of Commerce ambassador since 2016. She is a member of the Chamber’s Women’s Forum and has served on several Chamber related committees. Ansley is often seen at Chamber events such as ribbon cuttings, Cocktails and Commerce, VOOM meetings, and Business of the Month presentations. She is also proudly enrolled in the Class of 36 Leadership Thomas program that is administered through the chamber.
When asked what she likes most about being involved in the chamber, she tells us- “Meeting people that you normally would not get a chance to network with. I have the chamber to thank for opening so many opportunities for me in this community. Just being involved with your local chamber can lead you to connect with so many like-minded individuals that sincerely WANT to help your business grow. That’s what I love about Thomasville. Everyone genuinely wants you to succeed and they will do everything they can to help you on that journey.”
